December News Update

A Thuismitheoirí agus a Chaomhnóirí,
We have a few things to inform you of ahead of the Christmas holidays.
The Christmas Carol service will take place in the school on Wednesday 16th December as previously notified to you. However, we have decided to only have ONE show at 1.00p.m.
The Parents’ Association will serve tea, coffee and mince pies on the day. They will also hold their Christmas raffle. Sincere thanks to those of you who have contributed items for inclusion in the hampers and all donations are welcome up until Tuesday 15th December. It would help if as many donations as possible were in sooner to assist those assembling the hampers.
We are delighted with the decision of the Parents’ Association to fund 12 iPads for the school. These will be of benefit to all the children at various times during the school year and we hope to have them up and running early in the New Year. We are very grateful to the Parents’ Association and yourselves for all you do to support the work of the school.
The Board of Management have agreed to close the school at 2.00p.m. on Thursday 17th December to facilitate a staff training event. Children will have to be collected from school at 2.00p.m. as the buses WILL NOT RUN.
The school will also close at 12.00noon on Tuesday 22nd December for the Christmas holidays. The buses WILL RUN at this time.
